About Us

I grew up as a photojournalist. I covered the communities I lived in. The thing that struck me were the lives neglected and souls uncared for. When I moved to Lakeland, journalism eventually left me. I knew I had to do something. I couldn't stand by and watch more then 60,000 kitties be put to death for no other reason then no one wanted them. So, my family and I have sunk everything we have and a lot more that we don't have to create this place for you to come enjoy a kitty and maybe find a place in your heart and home for another family member.
